1. Introduction
Welcome to AlgarveTransfer. By booking a transfer with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our service.
2. Bookings
All bookings must be made through our online platform. You are responsible for providing accurate information, and confirmation will be sent via email upon successful booking.
3. Payments & Payment Methods
Customers may choose to pay online when accepting a quote (recommended), or pay the driver directly at the time of transfer. We accept major credit and debit cards for online payments.
All payments are processed in Euros (€). Any currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received or payment arrangements are agreed. If paying the driver, please ensure you have the correct amount in cash or as agreed with the provider.
5. Service Availability & Coverage
AlgarveTransfer operates in designated regions of the Algarve, Portugal. Service availability may vary depending on location, time of year, and operational constraints. We reserve the right to refuse bookings for destinations outside our coverage area.
6. Booking Confirmation & Communication
Bookings are confirmed via email or SMS after successful payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings due to errors, unavailability, or suspected misuse. It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact details and check your email/SMS for confirmation.
8. Refund Process & Timing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-14 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
9. Customer Obligations
You must provide accurate and complete information when booking. Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation without refund and/or refusal of future service.
10. Pets & Animals Policy
Pets are only allowed if pre-approved at the time of booking and must be transported in appropriate carriers. Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable law.
11. Smoking, Food & Drink Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. Consumption of food and drink is discouraged to maintain cleanliness. Any spills or damage may result in additional cleaning fees.
12. Damage to Vehicles
Customers are responsible for any damage caused to vehicles beyond normal wear and tear. Repair or cleaning costs may be charged to the customer if necessary.
13. Third-Party Services
AlgarveTransfer may use subcontractors or third-party providers to fulfill bookings. We are not liable for the actions or omissions of third parties, except as required by law.
14. Promotional Offers & Discounts
Promotional offers and discounts are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
15. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint, please contact us promptly at support@algarvetransfers.co.uk. We will endeavor to resolve all complaints amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with the Governing Law section.
16. Accessibility
AlgarveTransfer is committed to providing accessible services. Please inform us of any accessibility requirements at the time of booking so we can make necessary arrangements.
17. Liability
AlgarveTransfer is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather). Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
6. Changes & Amendments
Requests to change your booking (such as date, time, or passenger details) must be made at least 3 days before the scheduled transfer. Amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
7. Force Majeure
AlgarveTransfer is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts.
10. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all passenger details are correct and that you arrive at the pickup point on time. Misconduct or unsafe behavior may result in refusal of service.
11. Waiting Time & Delays
Drivers will wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. Additional waiting time may incur extra charges or result in cancellation without refund.
12. Luggage Policy
Each passenger is allowed one suitcase and one small bag. Please inform us in advance if you have excess or oversized luggage, as additional charges may apply.
13. Child Safety
Child seats are available upon request and must be reserved at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to inform us if a child seat is required. AlgarveTransfer complies with all applicable child safety regulations in Portugal. Failure to request a child seat in advance may result in service refusal or delays.
14. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all passengers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events, cancellations, delays, loss of luggage, or medical emergencies. AlgarveTransfer's liability is limited as described in these Terms & Conditions.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between AlgarveTransfer and the customer, superseding any prior agreements or communications.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and are effective immediately.
17. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel your booking up to 3 days (72 hours) before your scheduled transfer for a refund, except for the booking fee, which is non-refundable.
This policy allows our providers sufficient time to reschedule and offer the best possible service.
Cancellations made less than 3 days (72 hours) before the transfer, or failure to show up at the pickup location, are not eligible for a refund.
To cancel, please use the cancellation feature on our website or contact our support team.
The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
